Summit Home Medical Equipment is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Tammy Compere to our staff. She comes from to us from the Comal ISD district assistive technology team. Ms. Compere is a RESNA certified Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP).
The ATP credential is intended for service providers who are primarily responsible for a person’s assistive technology needs, from evaluation and assessment, to training and follow up in the use of that technology.
Tammy brings with her seating and mobility expertise. She is also dedicated to connecting her clients with assistive technology that is effective, reliable, and simple. By Allowing individuals with disabilities to use computers, communicate, and interface with their environments, they can achieve greater independence through powered mobility. She is able to assist with all assistive technology needs that range from a walking cane to powered mobility.
Tammy has taken many continuing education hours which include those to assist you with Adaptive Switch Laboratories products, Freedom Designs, and Invacare. Custom seating is essential to helping patients become independent in their environments. She has also developed a seating and positioning lunch in-service.
